The Next Challenge: Historical sites and markers

This challenge will be both a difficult and informative challenge. I almost feel like a history teachergiving out homework but hey, next week we will all learn something new. So for this challenge we are looking for historical sites, markers or monuments. I’m taking this challenge from myself, last week we did sunrises or sunsets and I had the San Jacinto Battlefield monument in the pic. The Battle of SanJacinto was a decisive battle that both defeated General Santa Anna but secured the Republic of Texas and its place in Texas history. The Battle took place in April 1836.

The Next Challenge: Sunrises or Sunsets

So last week I was inspired for this challenge by Sarah @ Punkin’s Patch she had a great sunrise/horse pasture pic. So for this challenge you may have to get up a bit early or wait till sunset for you late risers. Anyway I’ll keep looking at submissions for the next challenge and see how long I can keep linking new challenges to your submissions, this is fun for me..:-)

This was a sunrise at the San Jacinto Battlefield monument and reflection pool in San Jacinto Texas..

The Next Challenge: Sky

I’m taking next weeks challenge from 3 Collies pics this week. So, lets look up for this challenge and take pics of anything in the sky, clouds,sun, moon or just a plain cloudless blue sky… or in the case of my demo pic, some nasty storm clouds over Memphis Tn from last week..:-)

The Next Challenge: One Subject

So for this weeks challenge choose one and only one subject and take multiple pics of that subject. If you choose horses, take different kinds of horses, if you choose flowers take different kinds of flowers, you get the idea..

For the demo pics I chose to choose flowering trees, one subject, different pics….

The Net Challenge: Law Enforcement or Emergency Vehicles

The Next Challenge: Flowers and Wildflowers

This should be easy for most of us but If you are still frozen in and don’t have any new pics just use your archives..

For the folks who don’t know this is a Photography Challenge site and we welcome all folks at all levels of photograghy. I issue the challenge Sunday afternoon and you have all week to come up with the pics, then you post the following Sunday or pre-post for Sunday and just leave a comment letting everyone know you are up. Simple, east and we have some great folks who participate. We are in our 4th year of this site and its been really fun..:-)
