Sunday Stills, the next challenge: Wildflowers

O.K. heres the challenge and it is a challenge. Grab your camera and find an open field, fence row, empty lot, and get some wildflowers. The challenge is no flower gardens, botanical gardens,  hanging baskets, etc… I manage to find wildflowers in the most unusual places, you just have to look.  Oh yeah, weeds are considered wildflowers. The only folks who get a pass this week are those of you who live in the Southern Hemisphere because its winter,so, whatever ya find thats cool.

    Thanks for the pass Ed… I was wondering where was I going to find wildflowers at this time of year. But I will be keeping a lookout for something :-)

    OH!! I was just wanting to do this for a Challenge ..the new mountain I found to ride up, has some really great ones!..now just have to remember the trail i went on!

    Wow, what a gift this challenge is for me!
    I have a new camera (that I’m still trying to figure out) and LOTS of wildflowers!

    Mine are set to appear at 12:01EDT on Sunday!

    Its really really dry in Texas right now. I will need some luck. I will also be spending the end of the weekend in mexico, which is again really really dry. I will need a miracle on this one

    Thanks for your kind consideration for us South Hemispheresr, While most decidious flowers are gone, our natives are still bloomimg. Also, in my archives, I have lots of photos.

    WOO HOO I get to do macros again! I take pics of wildflowers all the time, so this week was fun….and was a challenge since all the really pretty wildflowers of spring are starting to fade…..mine are up!

    I’ll be out of town tomorrow, but mine are set to post in the morning. Instead of pulling out of the archives, I decided to show what wildflowers look like baked by the sun.

    I have a few. Wish I had had the camera when we were chasing cows yesterday as the bass wood trees are in bloom and the flowers are SO cool. Maybe I will get back up there during the week.
