Sunday Stills: The next challenge- The Moon
I figure ya’ll needed a tough challenge for next week and since there is a full moon or mostly full the next few days this could be the biggest challenge to date. Now don’t despair, you don’t have to have a crystal clear moon to be interesting. I have found out the last few weeks we have some very creative folks who participate here and I can’t wait to see the results next week.

Hint: The best times to take the pic is at moonrise or moonset, this is when the moon is at its closest to the earth and not so washed out by the sun during its highest zenith.
I put up some examples of moon pics I shot, two were with my trusty point and shoot..
Okay, this is going to be tough. I’ve been taking moon shots for the past month and none of them have come out decent. I guess I better get to work

This is so funny! I didn’t know about this challenge but I went out this morning and took dozens of moon photos…all of which are terrible I might add. lol

I took a pic of the moon at our ranch last week so I actually have something to contribute this week! Maybe I’ll take a better one this week though!

I don’t think I’ll make this one. We are traveling this week to Texas and coming home Sunday. I have my camera, but I’m not sure about computer access and upload ability. I will look at everyone’s shot though. Good luck.

I just happened to take a picture of a moon and architecture too! It’s a house roof that looks like a barn, so if you disqualify barns, mine will still be legal.
