The Next Challenge: Potluck
Since I have no idea for next week I’ll leave it up to you. Get creative, get down and dirty, its your choice what to shoot. just have fun and use this week to work with your camera and try different things.
Also I would like to try something different for the week after next ( Feb 1st). This week I’ll read the comments and I want some suggestions for the challenge… just remember not all people have DSLRS, so keep the ideas to something everyone can do.

How about some insight on low angle shots. Maybe a demo and turn everybody loose?

How about “above or below” where you have to take a shots that are either straight down or straight up? No angles other than directly above or below. And I suppose you could be more specific and say indoor or outdoor only on top of the above or below designation.

I liked the “luck” one (that I missed participating in)…so taking pictures that encapsulate an emotion or a feeling, like “cold”, “love”, “whimsy”….does that make any sense?

I was going to suggest ‘textures’, so I guess that’s two for textures.
Also, reflections – I need practice on that without getting myself in the picture when specifically when using a mirror (especially side mirrors of car)!

For the next challenge, how about something like the meme that was going around – go to the 6th folder on your computer and select the 6th pic. Kind of random but could be really interesting.

This is my first week participating in this project. I decided this might be a good way to get me motivated to learn about my new camera, a Nikon D40. It’s my first camera that requires any kind of adjustments and I’m a bit overwhelmed so I think this will be good to going instead of getting frustrated and giving up.
It’s great that the first week for me was something I could handle already so I didn’t get scared off right from the start. LOL So mine’s up and I’m committed to giving this a good try.
