Macro Monday for 5-28-12

I spent the last week with my nose buried in flowers and wildflowers, just me and my Nikon and my Sigma Macro lens getting some decent shots. On Friday I spent the whole day just doing 5 feet or closer shots, it was an education, so what did ya’ll get for macro shots?

 A mini Clematis…

And a cool bud of a flower that will be bright yellow with a red ring around the center….

Well I’m off this week for Illinois to my happy photo hunting grounds of Busey Woods, Meadowbrook Park and a few other places for a bit of time off and get more Macro shots..:-)

Sunday Stills, the next challenge: Music Groups or Songs in Pics

This will be a fun and challenging challenge to say the least and will not only take photo  skills but a knowledge of music. So find a song or music group and then take a picture of someting that represents them, sounds easy but it may take a bit of creativity. Here are a couple of examples I came up with…

Or how about” The Cars”

 Get it? If the song or group is not clear then you can give a clue or just make the folks guess. Have a great week Ed..:-)
